Luanshijiao Fm
Type Locality and Naming
The type section is located at Shilama, Bangda Township, Jintang District, Kangding County, Sichuan. It was named by the No. 2 Regional Geological Survey Party of Sichuan Bureau of Geology in 1976.
Lithology and Thickness
Limestone. Dominated by gray and light-gray moderately thick- to thick-bedded crystalline limestone, organic limestone, bioclastic limestone and siliceous rock, occasionally with bioclastic calcirudite in the upper part. Totaling 280.6 m thick.

Lower contact
Conformable contact with the underlying Changyanwo Fm
Upper contact
Conformable contact with the overlying Shilama Fm
Regional extent
Distributed mainly at Dayutongliangzi, Kongyu, Yeniugou and Changyanwo of Kangding

Fusulinids Profusulinella parva, P. wangyui, Pseudostaffella ozawai, P. khotunensis, Ozawainella magna, O. krusnokamski, Fusiella subtilis and Aljutovella Fallax; and Coral Chaetetes sp.
